The raider armor cannot accept material mods or more than one improvement in defensive capability, but has access to two unique modifications. The torso section is the most interesting, since it is the only power armor torso that only requires steel for repairs. Primarily, it is used by raider bosses to make one think twice before assaulting a raider outpost.
